Author Bio
I am the author of Who Am I? The Story of Talitha, a story rooted in redemption, identity, healing, and the power of rising after life’s hardest moments. This book was born from a deeply personal and spiritual place as I reflected on the question, Who am I? From there, I created a story that blends imagination, real-life emotion, and the kinds of struggles many people quietly carry.
At the heart of the book is Talitha, a young woman navigating betrayal, confusion, regret, and the painful unraveling of everything she thought she knew about herself and her life. Her journey is one of brokenness, self-discovery, and ultimately redemption. I named her Talitha because of the meaning behind Talitha cumi — little girl, arise — which beautifully reflects the message at the core of the story: no matter how low a person may feel, there is still grace, purpose, and hope to rise again.
My desire as a writer is to create characters that feel real and unforgettable. I want readers to connect deeply, feel every twist and turn, and keep thinking about the story long after they have closed the book. Through themes of betrayal, restoration, self-worth, healing, temptation, grace, and transformation, I aim to tell stories that not only entertain but also speak to the heart.
I am also excited about the future of this work. The audiobook for Who Am I? The Story of Talitha is currently in development, with voice auditions underway to help bring the story to life in a new way. I am also building a study-centered experience inspired by the book, designed to create safe and meaningful spaces for young girls and women to talk through the real issues reflected in its pages.
This story is only the beginning. I am continuing the journey with a follow-up centered on Jezreel, the antagonist readers love to hate. His story will go deeper into the dysfunction, pain, and hidden wounds that shaped the man he became. I also believe this book series is meant for the screen, and I plan to develop it into a miniseries and pitch it to prominent networks.
As an author, my passion is telling stories that reveal both the beauty and the brokenness of life while reminding people that redemption is always possible.
